The AUX outputs on the D8x / D16x can only be controlled after you enable a few settings in the D8 / D16 panel.
The following needs to be done in installer programming mode. It’s recommend you get assistance from a professional installer when doing this.
Enter installer programming mode on the system keypad (not in the app).
To control AUX1 you need to enable:
Press P 141 E
Option 4 needs to be enabled.
To control AUX2 you need to enable:
Press P 142 E
Option 4 needs to be enabled.
To control AUX3 you need to enable:
Press P 143 E
Option 4 needs to be enabled.
To control AUX4 you need to enable:
Press P 144 E
Option 4 needs to be enabled.
Ness D8x/D16x Deluxe Panels:
To control AUX5 you need to enable:
P 151 E Option 4 needs to be enabled.
To control AUX6 you need to enable:
P 152 E Option 4 needs to be enabled.
To control AUX7 you need to enable:
P 153 E Option 4 needs to be enabled.
To control AUX8 you need to enable:
P 154 E Option 4 needs to be enabled.
Without the above programming options enabled then the app can’t control the AUX outputs.
Aux outputs can only be controlled with panels running firmware 7.8 or above. Aux output 5-8 can only be controlled with panels running firmware 8 or above.
