The Ness aComms App provides a way to control your Ness D8/D16 series alarm panels over a network connection.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we use and protect the information in relation to services.

1 – Necessary Information:

To access your alarm system using our app you are required to provide the following user data:
1a. Panel Type
1b. Panel IP Address & Port Number (local & remote)
1c. Panel Name
1d. Zone Names
1e. AUX Output Names

All other settings within the app is stored within the local app database.

Additional details may be required in the future.

2 – What we do with the information:

The information provided is not sold or accessible by any 3rd party or server, and is only stored on your Android device in a local database so it can connect directly to the alarm system.

This data is not accessible by anyone since it directly connects to your alarm system.

3 – Billing and Payments:

Payments by the end user is handled by Google Play when you download the app from Google Play.

Please refer to the Google Play Billing Privacy Policy on how Google Play collects and processes payments.

We may at any time, limit your use or discontinue this applcation at our sole discretion. To the extent legally permitted, in no event shall we be liable for any losses or damages whatsover. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may or apply to you. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount actually paid by you (if any) for the application, service and related software.

The app Terms & User Agreement may be updated at any time with or without notice, and is valid for all versions of the application & all upgrades regardless when you downloaded the app.
